Twin Tier Horse Activities, March 1 -3, 2013
How exciting! So many events! Spring must be near! I haven't seen such a long and diverse line up of horse events for several months. Pick one (or two, or three) and have a great time with your horse!
Sandra Beaulieu Clinic at Gale’s Equine Facility
When: Friday, Mar 1, and Sat. Mar 2, 2013
Gale’s Equine Facility will be hosting Ms. Sandra Beaulieu for dressage
Friday, March 1st and Saturday, March 2nd.
Friday lessons will begin in late afternoon, and will continue through
the evening until the last lesson is completed. Saturday lessons will
begin at 9AM and will continue through the day.
Fees: $85 for one hour Private lesson.
$65/person for one hour Semi-Private lesson.
Friday evening... Sandra will be available to teach a QUADRILLE clinic.
Fee is $60 per rider for the evening clinic (6PM to 8PMish). We would
least three riders, up to eight riders for this clinic. Lesson horses
available for riders who may want to attend this event. Riders should be

Twin Tiers Trail Riders Tack Swap
When: Sat, March 2, 10am – 4pm
Description: at the 4H Building on the Chemung County Fair Grounds. Use the

"Movement and Awareness Class" - Sam Nelson, PH.D.
When: Sat, March 2, 10am – 12pm
Description: "Movement and Awareness Class" - Sam Nelson, PH.D. Certified
Feldenkrais® Practitioner, will teach you to use The FeldenkraisÂ®
Method which aims to enable individuals to perform with minimum effort
and maximum efficiency. It uses gentle movements to reprogram the
nervous system. The result is increased awareness, greater ease of
movement, and increased ability to move with your horse.

To begin this year's riding program, Reins of Hope is having a
volunteer training day on Saturday, March 9, beginning at 9am at the Big
Flats Community Center, 476 Maple St., Big Flats.
There will be a
classroom style presentation in the morning lead by the instructors
Carol and Margaret. Lunch will be provided around noon.
The riding program will begin on Mon., March 25th and runs on Monday and
Wednesday evenings beginning at 5:30. The program is held at FoxTale
Farms, 637 Sing Sing Rd., Horseheads.

Smith and Wilkins Horse Logging Field Day,
When: Sun, March 3, 10am – 5pm
Description: Smith and Wilkins Horse Logging Field Day, Carriage House Saddlery,
Trumansberg. 10 am to 5 pm. Log pulls, log loading, log skidding.
Singles or teams, Prizes for most classes. $20 single; $30 team.
