We have a rockin' good weekend coming up.
The Genesee Valley Hunt Races are worth the trip up north. It's a fun day with a race card that you don't get to see very often. Everything from small ponies to heavy horses race on the flat, and then there are the many races that go over fences, including the fun "Pace Race" and the $25,000 Genesee Valley Hunt Cup race. Local vendors, yummy food, dog activities...and a chance to see yours truly riding her heavy weight mare in the Heavy Horse Race. Come cheer Hudson on! Post time is 2:10 for the full-bodied racers.
This week, you also have an opportunity to audit a clinic taught by renowned eventer and clinician Lucinda Green, whose niece, incidentally, just won the Mongol Derby.
